Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Attorney representation

Can the Attorney I used 2 years ago to file and complete my divorce be used again by my ex-spouse to modify the divorce decree? Isn't this a conflict of interest?

Conflict of Interest

In my opinion, it would be an improper conflict of interest for an attorney who represented you on a divorce to then take on representing your "ex" against you. Are you sure the attorney did in fact represent you? Look at your papers carefully to be sure. It may be that the law firm is so busy that they have forgotten that this was a matter they previously handled. A polite letter reminding them would be in order.
