Someone wants to die and another person is aware of it

Is there any legal ramification if a person knows another person is incompetent, 83 years old, lives in a motel, they know she just wants to die, and refuses to notify any authority or next of kin as to her whereabout?

Only if they are a mandated reporter of elderly abuse.
