Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

My ex-husband has taken out another restraining order against me. Can this take away my visitation even though it is from a lesser court and this judge has been told she cannot do this by the family court judge.

Yes, domestic violence is grounds to take away visitation. You may be prevented from denying the domestic violence if you make the wrong statement in the TPO court because it is an admission and if you litigate it in the lesser court and lose, the facts determined are binding by the family court judge. Your best response is to tell the lesser court that your family court judge wants to hear the restraining order.
