Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Financial Statement

My husband has 3 children with his ex-wife. One child lives with us 2 live with his ex. They were married in IA divorced in NV. Ex wife now resides in MN. We live in IA. We got a lawyer in NV & they send us the papers to complete to get custody of the one the one child living with us. On the financial statement it states if remarried list spouses income. Are they going to count my finances and calculate new support off of that? Will they use her new husbands income also? One child she has receives Social Security will they also include that?

Re: Financial Statement

Use the Nevada lawyer to get you a certified copy of the Nevada divorce decree. Register the decree in IA and bring your custody case there. Nevada has no jurisdiction to modify the former decree since all of the parties and the children have left.
