Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

jurisdictional custody issues

I filed first for divorce. My husband is using the state we lived in as his permanent residence to get custody of our child. His summons states he currently resides in Nevada when he is in fact residing in Texas. The child currently resides with me in Hawaii since 13 Oct 01, but had not been here 6 months when my spouse filed. I believe Nevada claims jurisdiction because of his claims on the summons. What are my legal options, and how do I best prove that he is employed and residing in Texas?

Re: jurisdictional custody issues

Without viewing the Summons and Complaint in question, my guess is that Nevada counsel should be hired to make a special appearance in the matter to challenge jurisdiction only.
