Re: Out of State Settlement

You will probably have to localize your Nevada divorce in California. While you can get contempt in Nevada for her violation, she will not be extradited.

If you localize in California, you can seek all remedies against her.

I am licensed both in Nevada and California so if you want to email your telephone number to discuss, please do so.

Nevada still has jurisdiction until it has entered an order tranferring jurisdiction or you have filed a complaint for foreign judgment in another state which will take jurisdiction.
