Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada

Fell in pothole, troubles with insurance company.
I fell due to a pothole in a paved driveway in Las Vegas. I have photos of the pothole and my injuries. I sprained my ankle very badly, sprained my back, and have bursitis in my left knee. Insurance company has not given me anything in writing to assure me they represent their client. They have asked me for everything I can possibly give them but I have not received any written confirmation of receipt of such or that they have accepted liability. What do I do? 6 months later I'm still swollen and suffering.
