Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada
My name is on the house...and my father co-signed for me.I have made all payments on time for over a year.He wants off of my house now.Do we sign quitclaim?

No. All a quitclaim deed will do is give you ownership of the house but your father will still be responsible for the mortgage as a co-borrower. The only way to remove your father from the mortgage would be to get approval from the lender.
