quit claim deed executed fraudulently

i was a joint tenant on a single family home. i vacated the home. A quit claim deed was filed by the other tenant and my signature was forged on the deed. what recourse do I have? is there a statue of limitations that pertains to property?

You could sue to get the value of the house. The statute of limitations is probably three year for fraud.
