Legal Question in Technology Law in New Hampshire

E-mail harassment

Hi, I am receiving e-mails from someone harassing me and threatening to spread rumors about me at my place of employment. I am not sure if this is considered slander or defemation of character. What are the laws, if any? I live in NH.

It violates both Federal and State Laws.
