Restraining Order

How do fight a restraining order to stop me from telephoning my ex-husband to discuss payment of medical bills per our divorce decree?

You ask the court for permission - otherwise, have your lawyer contact his lawyer.

The short answer is you don't. You should hire an attorney to handle the communications, or send all communications in writing to the court and ask the court to forward the letter. Violation of a restraining order can result in severe penalties.

It would be best to have an attorney review the divroce decree, the restraining order and all related documents so that a better answer may be crafted.
