Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire

If it is written in the custody agreement that both parents have to pay 1/3 of the child's college education can it be upheld by the courts since they have changed the guidelines in NH? A few years ago the guidelines were changed to say that extra curricular activities are included in the child support. My ex husbands wife claims that it also means they do not have to contribute to her college education.

The current status of the law is that a judge can not order currently divorcing parents to assist their children with college costs. In order to answer the question a careful review of the divorce agreement would be required and noting thet date of the order.

As always, it is hoped that divorcing parties will cooperate in fairly addressing the needs of their children, including education.
