Salesmen bothering me at home

I rent an apartment and I just want to know if I can post a soign that says ''No Solicitation'' I am tired of Insurance salesmen bothering me. i live in an apaartment complex for elderly and disabled and this interferes with my life. Thank you

You may post a sign on your unit, so long as posting it doesn't violate any rules established for the apartment by the landlord. You cannot post one for the whole building or complex without the landlord's approval. Many commercial landlords already ban solicitation in the common areas of their apartments. Talk to your landlord or apartment manager about the problem. Perhaps many of your neighbors feel the same way about solicitation as you do.
