storage fee against missing mercandise

i own a bussiness and keep my mrechandise in a public storage,

after a few months i realized that i have some merchandise missing so i wanna deduct it from the fee the public storage charges me, but they claim there it has nothing to do with each other, and they refuse to give me any merchandise untill i pay that bill, i dont have any contract with them, and since my goods are perishables i need to ship it are soon what are my options could they hold 100k value of merchan. for a bill of &12000.00?

They do this all the time. Without looking at the contract, I'm sure they have that in there. I suggest you hurry since they typically have auctions once a month where they sell off this stuff to pay the fees.

I suggest you either pay them or consult with an attorney.
