Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey

I work for a town, we had to send out a mass mailing, over 200 letters, I mistakenly left out 5. the meetings that the town was alerting them to has passed. will we have to do the mailing all over again, or can we just notify the people who didn't get the mailing and let them know what happened at the meeting, maybe send them copies of the minutes?

thanks for your time.

It depends on what the notice was for. You might have failed to comply with the Open Public Meetings Act, or with some other law. I can not tell just from what you have written.

If you did, then what you are planning to do probably will NOT fix it. I do not know what the results are going to be, unless I get a lot more information.

Why don't you ask the Town Attorney?

Please give me a call to talk it over. The telephone discussion will be free of charge, and I will let you know what I believe I can do to assist you further. My contact information can be obtained from the links below, just click on the Attorney Profile link. Let my secretary know you found me through LawGuru.
