Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

This is in New Jersey. My son has a similar first name as my deceased husband. A creditor placed a lien on my summer house, even though the first names are different.

The law firm representing the credit card company has called me and told me to look my son in the eyes at thanksgiving time and ask him about his bill, in addition they call me after I told them during this time period that I did not see my son.

Can I sue the law firm and the creditor to have the lien removed and for any additional damages?

Please call me.

This is all wrong, and they are in big trouble if the debts were NOT your husband's.

I can not tell you how many Federal laws they violated. Good grief.
