cocaine charges

i was told from a police officer when i was arested for my charges for cocaine distrubition that if i wanted to give some information, which i know it is called confidential informant. i gave them just first names but with no address, last name, or number. They also did not make sign anything, can they bring that information up if they only have first names.

Not sure what you mean by "bring it up" but you are not a CI because you didn't sign anything. You should really have an attorney to help you here. Can you afford one?

Anything you say to the police after you have been arrested can, and likely will, be used against you. If you are charged with a serious charge like cocaine distribution then you need a lawyer to represent you. I am not certain of your asking whether first names can be brought up.

I would think that you are referring to your trial. The answer is that everything that you say can be used against you. I just do not know how a jury would evaluate your giving first names of individuals without addresses. It might regard your statment as an effort to please the police by giving information when you had no real information.
