Hi

These types of cases are never dropped. Assuming that the state acted correctly to protect your constitutional rights, and a valid lab report is returned, you could attempt to enter a conditional discharge program. THe benefits of this is that if you complete this successfully, you can avoid a criminal record, not have to worry about loss of license as well as avoid other penalties.

I have more information about this at my web cite at: www.polskylegal.com SHould you have further questions please feel free to reach out to me at 973 686 9787

The charge won't be dropped up front. However it is possible to get enrolled in a probationary program that could ultimately lead to a dismissal of the charge against you. Please contact my office for a free consultation to discuss your case in more detail. Thank you.
