Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I have a 17 year old daughter who does not want to see her father due to some past physical abuse and emotional abuse. There is nothing recorded on this but her and my word. He is pursuing parenting through legal means and the court has appointed evaluation. However, she will be 18 in 10 months and everyone keeps telling me that the court will probably rule that she has to see her father or reunification therapy, which I cannot afford. She is terrified of her father. I have a lawyer but she hasn't been much help. Any information you can give me would be helpful. How about constructive emancipation or something that would help us.

How about a lawyer who will fight for you? Give me a call, let me see what I can do. I am probably too far from Trenton to help you, but I have been doing this for a long time and I may be able to give you some help anyway. At the least, I can try to find someone nearby who will fight for you.
