Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Would it be a bad idea to request a review on child support order pertaining to the healthcare coverage that the obligor is to provide for our children as he has not done so in 2 years and he recieves a credit towards his support. The reason i would like to know if its a bad idea for the fact of him out on disability for the past 9 months. Would that make a difference on account of him not workin?

You would want to know what the likely result would be before you make a formal application. An experienced family lawyer would be able to provide that information to you once he/she hears all of the facts and circumstances in your matter and then runs child support guidelines for you.

Keep in mind that this advice is based purely on the little bit of information that you have given to me. There certainly may be other factors that would change my opinion. Further, no one can rely on advice from an attorney who has not been retained. You will only be able to rely on advice from an attorney who you have actually retained. Good luck! Rob Gleaner
