Child Support

Would like to know the exact formula for calculating child support in the state of New Jersey.

The exact formula is as set forth in the New Jersey Court Rules, which you can get at any law library, some public libraries and, I would think, all law offices. You would need to know, as a minimum, the gross income of each of the parents, the number of overnights that the child spends with each parent, the amount of child care cost paid and the cost of health insurance for the children. This information is applied to the tables, adjustments to the income is made and a calculation can then be completed.
