Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My Divorce was in 2001 in New Jersey. As part of the Divorce settlement, I was to give my ex-wife $50,000 out of my 401K. 9 years have passed and I have not given it to her yet. Is there a statue of limitation on me having to give her that money?

If it was supposed to be done by a Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO), there is a time period for it to be done by. To properly advise you, your agreement and divorce judgment will need to be reviewed. Mention Law Guru and the first consultation is free.
