Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Can a judge use the words, "Less than Candid", after you've answered a question and she has no 'Proof' whether or not you 'Are' in fact telling the truth? Isn't that like saying 'You're a liar' without FACTS? I have appealed my divorce case and it's been submitted. I just feel like this judge spoke down to me and based everythig on her opinion and never stated FACTS. But she loved my super smart husband :( we were pro'se
