Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Pertaining to New Jersey (joint prperty state) in regards to child support:

My ex remarried and has a permanent increase in income. Can I ask the court to look at the combined gross income of the married party verse my gross income.

An automatic in crease was put off because my income was reduced over a three year period. I had to take pay cuts to keep my job.

It has been 4 years since support was calculated

Your former spouse's income is not increased by marrying someone. The income of the new spouse is important as regards calculating your former spouses support obligation for the offspring of the new marriage so that this number can be plugged into the recalculation of your former spouses support obligation to the children you had with him or her.
