Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

is refinancing your home selling the home to yourself.

Recently divorced. Wife retained house by Quit Claim Deed. She refinanced the house to remove me from the mortgage and now wants me to pay refinance costs. Agreement signed prior to this states that "the parties hereby undertake and agree to hold the other free and harmless of and from any debts or obligations contracted by either party prior to or subsequent to the date of this agreement."

Question 1. When refinancing "Did she sell the property to hersrlf"

Question 2. Am I liable to pay the refinance charges she is stating.
