Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

If my wife and I were to seperate on good terms, would she be entitled to a dog I purchased for her! I presently have the receipts for the dog which I paid for before we were marrried. My parents presently take care of dog and shelter for the last couple years because she does not have time to take care of.

It would seem that your question is already resolved. She apparently is no great dog lover. A dog lover would find time for the dog. You just need encourage her to continue to believe that she has no time for the dog. Otherwise, a gift to her is her property.

Call me if you like.
