If one party goes to give another a bid for a contract without the authority of their boss, is it binding? If not how does the boss get out of the contract?

Has the party accepted the offer? If not, withdraw it. Did the employee appear to have the authority to make the offer? Was it written or oral? There are many questions that need to be answered before a lawyer can give you a reasonable opinion on this matter
