Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

I am an American citizen, born and raised in the USA. I want to marry a person from the Phillipines who entered the USA on a visitors visa which has long since expired. She lives in New York and I live in New Jersey. What is the procedure for marriage under these circumstances.

Thank you

Hi,

All sponsorship paperwork can be filed concurrently with the USCIS based on bona fide marriage to a U.S. citizen even if I-94 has expired. Your wife will be able to adjust status in the U.S. and receive employment authorization in the interim.

It would be a matter of marrying your partner and applying for adjustment of status to secure her lawful permanent residency.
