Legal Question in Insurance Law in New Jersey

Do I need to contact a lawyer?

I was involved in a three-car accident in late April. While insured, I do not have collision insurance, so getting my car fixed is on me. I obtained a copy of the police report and waited two weeks for the woman who hit me to contact me. She did not. I then sent her a congenial letter asking her where to send the estimate for my car's damage. It is now three weeks later and she has not contacted me nor has her insurance company. Is it time for me to send a second letter and mention I am willing to bring a lawyer into the situation if I do not hear from her SOON.

Thank You,

Betsy Gelle

Re: Do I need to contact a lawyer?

Hello,

You can always attempt to write her again and give her one last ultimatum. You could also write the letter directly to her insurance company. Call me and I can advise you the correct address to send it to. Also, I could handle the suit if it eventually needs to be filed. 732-286-2170
