Legal Question in Intellectual Property in New Jersey

I wish to register my company trademark, which is a custom styled text of the business name. What would be better to register first- the plain text of the name, or the stylized text?

Without knowing the name and the nature of the goods or services to be protected, that question is impossible to anwswer. It would not be out of the question to register both if the PTO will allow that.
