Contractors as Employees

I have been employed as a contractor (paid by my contracting co.) to a client for over 2 yaers. Am I entitled to be ''treated'' as an employee with vacation & holiday pay benefits?

Generally, contractors are not entitled to any of the benefits of a client's employees. There is no entitlement to vacation in the law. However, you may be entitled to vacation and holiday pay from your employer. Do you have a consulting agreement? Does the consulting company that you work for have any employment policies or a handbook of some kind?
