Re: home lease agreement(NJ)

The three day right of recission that I am aware of is for purchase of residential real estate where there is a real estate broker involved, and an attorney may review and choose to reject the purchase contract.

I am not aware of any three day right for leases.

I am not abolutely certain that none exists; I would have to research that (I charge, like all attorneys, for my efforts).

Obviously, there are several practical ways to deal with this, both from the renter's point of view and from the landlord's point of view. If you are trying to get out of the lease, you need legal advice. If your tenant is threatening to walk out of a lease, you need legal advice.

Please go get an attorney's assistance.
