Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

rent control in hudson county nj?

My lease is up. I rent a single family

home from a couple who live in

Dallas. They want me to leave

because I am paying below market

rent. Do I have to? What are the

laws in Hudson County about this?

Does right and wrong matter to you? Why should you rent someone's property for less than it is worth because you find some legal maneuver to drprive them of their property? Do you know what a predator is?

Not likely subject to rent control but subject to local ordinance, not county or state law. You are protected by the NJ Anti-Eviction Act.

You are a protected tenant under the NJ Anti-Eviction Act and the landlord cannot evict you for the cause stated in your e-mail. Confer my web site for the laws and additional info. www.lep-lawyers.com
