Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New Jersey

arm permanently damaged

about a year ago i broke my elbow and after i had surgery on it i was told that i will soon most likely have arthrities in it. to the doctors surprise when i extend or contract my arm the bones in my elbow rub together and cause a very uncomfortable feeling thats also very audible. i went to 6 months of therapy to attempt to solve this problem and nothing changed. i believe the doctor may have screwed something in my elbow up when he attempted to secure the bone back together. as it is excercising is painful and i can't imagine it when i get older, im only 20 right now. please give me any advice possible. i don't know if maybe i waited too long now
