Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

My 18 year old daughter was involved in an accident in a Wawa parking lot last week. both her and the other driver were backing out of their parking spots and her rear hit their rear passenger side. She has minor abrasions and she said they have less. A police report was filed and my daughter only was issued a ticket. Is she the only one that should be issued a ticket since both parties did the exact same thing? I don't care about paying the $85 ticket, but it was issued for careless driving and that comes with two points she can't afford. I don't feel she ios only at fault. We have pled not guilty and got to court on November 29th. Since this happened on private property, do the moving violations of the law apply?

Yes the moving violations apply. I guess the cop heard all the stories and through she was at fault. We could go to court and work to get the 2 points removed. Call me anytime at 732/773/2768 to discuss.
