joint ownership and sale

If my name is on the title of a boat as a joint owner, am I entitled to any payment, according to law, when the boat is sold by the other owner?

Re: joint ownership and sale

Why is your name on the title? If you paid anything towards the purchase or the maintenance you may be entitled to some part of any sale. Also, if your name is on the title, you would have to sign it in order for there to be a sale. Any questions please call.
