Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

My landlord rented me an illegal room to live in a year ago, the inspectors came the other day and today my landlord got a mail stating that she must evict me within 3 business days. My name is on the lease but the lease ended and I am paying rent on a monthly basis. I have no money to move out and I read somewhere that the landlord is liable to reimburse me for 6 months worth of rent if she is to evict me due to having illegal rooms, my question is if that is the case in this situation. She tried to evict me when she found out the inspectors were coming a few months ago and her reasoning was because "I have cancer and she doesnt want me getting anybody in the building sick." I stood ground and now apparently I am forced to leave within 3 business days. I would like to know what are my steps into getting reimbursed for me looking for a new place to live and can I take her to court?

YOU need ME! I have handled this kind of claim before (and represented landlords who had to pay, too) and I can help you.

Yes, you are entitled to 6 months' rent from the landlord paid to you if your apartment was illegal.

Give me a call, we will get this going,
