Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Jersey

What is ''square footage'' of home/ condo?

Does the square footage include only the liveable space of the home or condo unit, or does it also include total space, such as the attic, garage, storage space, common areas in condos, etc? I usually enter only the liveable space in our local MLS as per the specs by the survey. Is this correct?

It sounds like you are a realtor, asking a general question. Please call me, and I would be happy to chat with you for a few minutes at no charge. The answer is going to depend on a couple of things, including the wording of your MLS listing system, and what is customary in the trade. 973-890-0400, Passaic County. Let us see if I can help you.
