Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

39:4-129b

I recieved two tickets, Careless Driving w/ property damaged and Leaving scene of Accident. Is it possible to go to court wit out a lawyer and pursuade the prosecutor on giving me something w/ less points?
