Is it considered entrapment if police officers set a pedestrian in the middle of the street and pull you over for not yeilding to them?

Entrapment is a criminal law defense it will not help if you have received a summons for failing to yield to a Pedestrian even if the Pedestrian was an Officer pretending to cross the street, this is not entrapment. If you fail to stop and yield to the individual in the crosswalk (even if it is an officer) you would be guilty of failing to yield. You have the ability to yield, failing to do so does not mean that you were entraped by police into committing the offense. feel free to call should have any other questions, (201)=894=9498
