Re: court

You are an idiot. Stop making excuses, and find another way to school, get an attorney (now your stupidity will cost you much more money, but it's your fault, so take responsibility for your own actions, and don't bitch to anyone about the cost), and have the attorney help you turn yourself in... bring your toothbrush and a good book if you can read. You have repeatedly ignored the court, so the judge WILL be angry, and I will surprised if you do not spend time in jail, even if you turn yourself in. The court does NOT want to hear excuses like, "I had to drive to school." If you can not make a particular date, you can and ask to re-schedule, you do NOT ignore the court. If you plan on making stupid excuses, let me know, I want to see what the judge does to you (PS - crying does not help). As far as the judge is concerned, he does not give a damn what else you had going on, unless you were in the hospital or in Iraq, the judge expects you to be in court. If you get caught driving, you will most likely go to jail for months, pay huge fines, and lose your driving privileges for MANY years, say 10 or possibly more years, depending on how pissed the judge and MVS gets (they can take away your privileges for life, but you can apply for re-instatement at an administrative hearing some years in the future - more $$$ for lawyers). IF the initial suspension was for something minor or better yet something not your fault, WITH a good attorney, you may only lose your license for 6-12 months, and maybe only spend a few days in jail (depending upon when you are arrested and when court meets), assuming you can post full bail that is. Assuming the reason for the initial suspension was minor, and that you are young enough you can plead your brain wasn't fully developed and you are an idiot, but not dangerous, MAYBE you can get past this without being scarred for years if not life. GET AN ATTORNEY NOW, and STOP being so stupid!!! Good luck, you'll need it!

Re: court

I agree with the other attorneys. There is a 99% chance you are going to jail regardless of who your attorney is. The questions becomes now, how long will you be going for. Unless you want to get hammered, I suggest you get an attorney now!

Re: court

My advice is to turn yourself in NOW since the odds are that you will be pulled over and put in jail if you wait until January. The driving while suspended is serious because it has a mandatory jail term associated with it. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in vairous courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
