I got in an accident which was ruled my fault and recieved a careless driving ticket. What can I expect in fines/points etc? Should I go to court and try to bargain?

This is a two point ticket. If you have not already done so twice in the past five years, you can ask the prosecutor to change this ticket to a zero point ticket for Unsafe Driving. The fine on an unsafe driving ticket also has an additional $250.00 state surcharge on top of the court fine.

You should go to court to make sure that a guilty plea or finding is sealed by the court,
