Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

I got a traffic ticket in NJ for (39.4-81 failure to observe signal). The officer said I ran the red light but I was certain it was yellow when I entered the intersection. I asked the officer if his police car had video recording and he said yes. I want to plead not guilty. What is the best way to win the case? Can I request to examine his video recording? Should I hire an attorney? If I am convicted, will I still have the chance to pay more fine in exchange of points?

Which Court is this?

You can hire an attorney but getting the video will require some action on your part (or your attorney's) Most likely the Prosecutor would plea bargain it down yo a no-point violation....no points but a hefty surcharge
