Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

My aunt died in NJ. She has a Will, where she appointed me as executrix. Unfortunately she has no assets to distribute. She sold her home a few years ago and the proceeds were used to pay for a nursing home for her. Those proceeds lasted about three years when the money ran out. I toke her from the nursing home and brought her to my home for her remaining days.

So my question is, do I need to get the court involved at all?

No assets of any type means you do not have to submit the Will to probate.
