Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

As the executrix of my Brother's Will, is it permissalbe to ask each one separately what they want from his house just to get an idea or do we have to be altogether and discuss it. He was single and we are the only ones in his Will.

I would need to review the will. Does it address the tangible property? As executor, you may have the power to distribute the tangibles [or sell them and distribute cash]. Often the best way to divide the tangibles is to have a meeting at the house and let each beneficiary choose what they want [on a rotating basis].

Sounds like you could use some help from an attorney. This issue is not too difficult, there are a couple of ways to deal with it. Give me a call, we will discuss it.
