how do i obtain a copy of a will from someone who died in 1993

If the will was probated, you can obtain a copy from the Surrogate's Court in the County where the person died.

you can get a copy from the Surrogate for the County where the Will was probated. if it was not probated, then you will need more assistance to get it. It sounds like there is something going on with the Will that affects you. Call me if you would like an attorney's assistance.

I agree that if a Will was probated, a simple call to the Surrogate in the County where the person resided when he/she died should allow you to get a copy. A small fee will be charged for photocopying it, or, if you actually go there, you can see it for free.
