Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey
My question pertains to my mother in law's credit card bills owed after she passed away, can they try to receive pmt. for the balances from the beneficiary's or their life insurance policy proceeds?? Can they try to get the money owed to them from the estate?? Thank you. Bruno

A creditor of a deceased may only obtain a judgment against the estate of the deceased or a co-signer to the debt.
