Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey

WC requirements

I am semi-retired and I am not drawing a salary. There is a small amount of income from from 2 companies I still keep going. I draw expense money from this income. Am I required to pay for Workman's Compensation Insurance?

Thank you,

Re: WC requirements

If you have any employees, even part time, then you must carry workers compensation insurance in New Jersey. If you are the only person working at the company, then you do not have to carry workers compensaiton insurance if you don't mind being uncovered personally. If you have any questions about this, you can call me at 908-272-0111. Thank you.
