Legal Question in Employment Law in New Mexico
If your boss is taking money from your check for shortages (I'm a clerk at a corner store) are they required to give notice as to the reason/what the money is being taken out for?

Yes. The employer has to tell you why they are withholding some of your pay. Ask your boss why this is happening.
