After my lawsuit has been resolved, what are my rights to have my files from my attorney?

They are your files and you are entitled to them if your attorney has been paid. The attorney may retain copies of his work product, but you are entitled to all the documents. Also, many of the important documents are available through the Clerk of Court. If you are having trouble resolving an issue with your attorney, the State Bar of NM can help. Online or by phone.
